As Operations Generalist, you will own day-to-day operations across multiple functions, providing rare exposure to how a category-defining company is built end-to-end. This is a cross-functional role spanning people operations, workplace operations, events, and strategic special projects.
Key responsibilities include: managing office logistics across San Francisco and New York locations (supplies, landlord relationships, company swag, off-sites); owning recruiting coordination and onboarding end-to-end (scheduling, offer logistics, new hire ramping, legal/immigration coordination, Founder Academy); conceptualizing and executing company-building events from concept through logistics and invites; and partnering with founders and Head of Bizops on strategic initiatives.
You should have 2+ years in a fast-paced environment (ideally startup experience), background in ambiguous cross-functional roles (people ops, workplace ops, office management, or events), and be a self-starter who drives work without heavy direction. You need good taste and perspective on what makes offices, offsites, and onboarding experiences genuinely excellent. You must be comfortable owning work across diverse domains without dropping details, energized rather than drained by fast-moving, high-intensity environments, and default to using AI tools for automation and problem-solving. Strong written communication and discretion handling sensitive employee information are essential. Bonus: strong undergraduate degree with consulting experience, or experience founding a venture or building a function from 0-1.
