Nomos is building a full-stack power company to unlock flexibility in Europe's energy markets by connecting millions of homes to grid services. The company aims to make European electricity competitive with US and Asian pricing through solar and demand flexibility.
In this Operations role, you will be an early-stage operator responsible for building and running the operational infrastructure of a growing energy company. You will own energy operations end-to-end, including market communication, customer data management, and billing systems. You'll manage the complete customer journey from onboarding through ongoing support, using feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running energy operations end-to-end across market communication, customer data, and billing
- Owning the customer journey from onboarding through ongoing support
- Building internal processes and workflows as Nomos scales
- Improving hiring workflows and taking ownership of company-wide projects
- Establishing reliable records of what has happened, what remains open, and who owns next steps
- Working with engineering to automate recurring processes and ensure human attention reaches the right people
You will face exciting challenges: building operational structure from scratch in a fragmented, legacy-system-dependent energy market; turning recurring manual work into software through deep process understanding; and establishing reliable systems that customers depend on.

Requirements:
- Fluent in both German and English (required for detailed customer cases and market communication)
- Demonstrated ability to build structure in messy processes and make them reliable
- Detail-oriented with a track record of following through until issues are resolved
- Ability to get into process details yourself and explain what you changed and why it worked
- Experience taking responsibility from the start in early-stage or fast-growing environments
