Stripe is seeking an Operations Associate to join its Mexico City office and support the TaxJar product line. You will be at the intersection of customer support, process optimization, and product operations for one of the world's leading financial infrastructure platforms.
In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve external user issues while analyzing operational processes to identify opportunities for scaling and improving the user experience. You'll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to enhance product offerings and communicate new features to users. A key part of this position involves gaining insights into how thousands of businesses use Stripe to scale their operations, then translating those learnings into process improvements.
You'll be part of building a brand-new operational team and culture within Stripe's Mexico City hub, partnering with global operations specialists and business process owners to run critical workflows. This is an opportunity to learn how Stripe operates from the ground up and make a tangible impact on the organization's future.
The ideal candidate has a user-first mindset and thrives on solving complex problems. You excel at analytical thinking, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and are energized by learning about technical products and processes. You're an organized self-starter with a process-oriented approach, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, and skilled at collaborating across teams and with external partners. Prior experience in customer support, troubleshooting, process improvement, or user-facing operations is preferred but not required.
