Distributed Spectrum builds systems for radio spectrum intelligence, combining neural networks trained on global radio data with custom embedded systems. The company has developed proprietary technology including novel embedding model architectures, custom GPU kernels, and a complete ML stack from scratch.
As Operations Associate, Growth, you'll be the operational backbone of the fast-moving Growth team, managing the logistics and coordination that keep customer relationships and business development moving. This role sits at the intersection of the Growth team's frequent travel and the broader organization, requiring someone who thrives on detail work and anticipatory problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include owning all travel logistics (flights, hotels, ground transportation, last-minute changes), chasing down missing information from team members, maintaining organized records of key customers and projects, keeping trip details visible and accurate across the company, serving as the primary point of contact for Growth's operational needs, and building repeatable processes that improve coordination over time. You'll also provide light calendar, inbox, and administrative support to a senior leader.
The ideal candidate is highly organized with genuine interest in logistics and detail management, proactive about following up at any company level, resourceful and calm under pressure, and energized by startup unpredictability. You should have 1-3 years of experience in operations, coordination, administrative support, events, or similar detail-heavy roles. Strong communication, judgment, discretion, and ownership mindset are essential. The company values fast learners, intellectual honesty, adaptability, and collaborative problem-solving.
