Octus is a global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics serving hedge funds, investment banks, management consulting firms, and law firms since 2013. The Operations Associate will join the Global Covenants team in the Bogotá office, supporting client-facing operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include fielding client queries for covenant analysis via email and tracking query status across Octus teams; ensuring strict adherence to compliance processes for private documents and analysis; collaborating with the commercial team to deliver excellent client service; maintaining internal reporting documentation; liaising with offshore data teams and London/USA teams on workflow and data initiatives; monitoring fixed income deal flow and compiling related documentation; supporting legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists in New York and London on editorial content and data projects; and leading various administrative and operations projects.

Requirements:
- University degree
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Curious mindset with willingness to learn new processes, tools, and industry concepts
- Interest in financial services, legal documentation, and/or financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence to interact professionally with clients
- Proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and client-first mindset
- Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet client deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems and tools
- Familiarity with AI tools and large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) is a plus; interest in using AI for data extraction and process automation is encouraged
