Garage is a marketplace platform that automates the exchange of critical assets across essential industries, starting with fire departments and expanding to other sectors. As an Operations Analyst, you will own operational initiatives and special projects that improve workflows and help the team scale. Your core responsibilities include maintaining operational accuracy by updating trackers and internal systems to ensure deal status, documentation, and timelines remain current. You'll identify issues, gather missing information, and resolve requests efficiently while escalating complex matters appropriately.
You will serve as the operational coordinator between clients, Sales, Engineering, and other internal teams, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and surfacing opportunities to improve customer experience. Managing multiple active transactions simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail is essential in this fast-moving environment.
Additionally, you'll support platform users—both buyers and sellers—in navigating the Garage platform and completing required actions smoothly. You'll identify ways to enhance the user experience based on direct customer interactions.
The ideal candidate takes ownership and works with high autonomy, proactively identifying and driving solutions. You're comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments while maintaining precision. You excel at engaging with customers and building trust through clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism. You prioritize effectively and manage multiple deadlines efficiently. You're confident working with spreadsheets, trackers, and multiple data sources, interpreting and communicating insights clearly.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience in operations, customer-facing, or analytical roles, strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels via phone and email.
Nice-to-have skills include early-stage startup experience, proficiency with ticketing and project management tools (Notion, Jira, Linear), a curious and proactive mindset, and a low-ego approach to rolling up your sleeves.
