FlixBus is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and optimize operations across the Benelux region from the Amsterdam office. This role is central to developing and improving the company's bus transportation network and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage regional partnerships by building strong relationships, improving partner performance, and serving as the primary operational point of contact
- Lead improvement initiatives focused on vehicle quality, driver standards, partner support, and overall service quality
- Analyze KPIs and performance data to identify bottlenecks, optimize the network, and translate insights into concrete actions
- Negotiate with partners on compliance, quality improvements, and long-term commitments
- Collaborate closely with headquarters, tech, and local teams to ensure smooth operations and aligned priorities
- Stay connected to operations by visiting stations, gathering field feedback, and driving continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in dynamic, technology-driven environments; experience in bus or passenger transportation is a strong plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong plus
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proactive, solution-oriented, detail-focused with ownership mentality
- Strong stakeholder management skills, skilled in relationship management, negotiation, and influencing teams and partners
- Practical, hands-on approach with valid driver's license and willingness to travel
