Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an Operational Support Lead to join the Maritime team's Dive-XL Field Operations group. This role owns all facets of operational support for the Dive-XL autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) mission, including logistics coordination, sparing strategy, equipment readiness, and site preparedness.
Key responsibilities include end-to-end logistics coordination for field operations, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of gear and support equipment across multiple assets. You will drive sparing strategy and maintain critical spare inventory levels to minimize downtime, coordinate with supply chain managers on procurement priorities, and manage RMA processes for defective equipment. You'll lead hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs and heavy-duty equipment in the field, establish and enforce preventive maintenance schedules, and conduct monthly inventories across distributed assets.
Additionally, you will lead site surveys for new and existing operational locations to identify logistical requirements and constraints, coordinate test site mobilization and demobilization efforts including transport and craning operations, and develop standardized deployment documents and checklists. You'll serve as the primary interface for logistics and sparing within the field ops team, identify process improvements, and adapt to emerging operational needs. Travel is required approximately 50% of the time for customer-facing operations.
Required qualifications include 7+ years of relevant experience in logistics, equipment maintenance, or operational support; demonstrated experience leading or coordinating operational logistics in field environments; strong organizational skills managing complex inventories across distributed assets; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Oracle or equivalent ERP systems; excellent communication skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to deploy up to 50% of the time; and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred qualifications include Hoisting Engineer License, HMT 252 Shipping Excepted Lithium Batteries certification, knowledge of offshore HSE policies, experience supporting autonomous vehicle or marine operations, prior military logistics or expeditionary support experience, and a 100T Captain's License.
