Teya is a Series C fintech company building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe. The Operational Resilience Lead will design and implement Teya's operational resilience capability within the first line of defence, ensuring the company can prevent, adapt to, respond to, recover from, and learn from operational disruptions affecting critical business services. This role combines strategic framework design with hands-on operational execution. You'll own the end-to-end operational resilience programme, including identification of important business services, impact tolerance setting, dependency mapping, scenario testing, self-assessment, and post-incident reviews. A core principle: automation and AI-first thinking. You'll reject manual, spreadsheet-heavy solutions in favour of automated evidence gathering, data feeds from systems of record, AI-assisted scenario design, and self-refreshing dashboards for governance reporting. Key responsibilities include designing and shipping a lightweight v1 operational resilience framework in month one rather than perfecting it over twelve months. You'll maintain the register of important business services through automated data feeds, build end-to-end mapping (people, processes, technology, facilities, data, third parties), design and run scenario testing programmes using AI tooling, coordinate annual self-assessments and regulatory submissions, and act as the operational focal point for major incidents. You'll partner closely with Technology, Information Security, Business Continuity, Product, Payment Operations, Compliance, and Operational Risk teams. The role requires deep knowledge of FCA PS21/3, PRA SS1/21, DORA, and the Bank of England's operational resilience framework. You'll ensure compliance while treating regulation as a floor, not a ceiling. Strong stakeholder management, bias to action, comfort with data and automation, and pragmatic risk-based thinking are essential. You should be able to specify, build, or configure data pipelines and dashboards independently, present confidently to senior stakeholders, and work with high autonomy.
