Sentric (part of Believe, a global music publishing and artist development company) is seeking an Operational Insights Analyst to join the Revenue Optimisation Department. This role sits at the intersection of music data analysis and data architecture, where you'll maintain data structures, design pipelines and models that power reporting on royalties and rights, and deliver analysis tools that drive operational efficiency.
You will work closely with the Rights, Royalties, and Insights teams as both a creator of trustworthy data foundations and a translator of data into business decisions. Key responsibilities include:
• Support revenue assurance activities by tracing discrepancies through source data and transformation logic
• Partner with business teams to translate audit and business questions into robust, reusable data structures rather than one-off queries
• Track and follow up on audit outcomes, contributing to the development of revenue assurance frameworks and methodologies
• Build and maintain data models and transformation pipelines that convert raw rights, royalty, and catalogue data into clean, analysis-ready tables in AWS and Snowflake
• Provide input on schema design for reporting layers, applying database normalisation principles and referential integrity
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that move data from source systems and royalty statement feeds into Snowflake via AWS S3 and Athena
• Write and troubleshoot SQL and Python-based transformations to process royalty and usage datasets, with growing focus on performance and efficiency
• Build, maintain, and iterate on dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) on curated, well-modelled data
• Evaluate and pilot AI-assisted data tooling to accelerate insight delivery
• Support engineering/product teams on upstream schema or system changes by investigating downstream impact on data models and reporting
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
• Proven product engineering experience, ideally including C#, TypeScript, ReactJS, or similar
• Solid understanding of relational databases and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Hands-on experience with, or genuine curiosity about, AI-assisted development and agentic coding tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Pragmatic, principled approach to quality and continuous improvement
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work on-site at the Liverpool office (hybrid role)
Bonus qualifications:
• Experience running .NET applications in AWS
• Experience with the CWR standard
• Familiarity with the music publishing industry
• Experience establishing or contributing to team practices around AI-assisted engineering
