Locus Robotics builds AI-powered autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that optimize supply chain and warehouse operations. As an Onsite Support Engineer, you will be stationed at a customer location in Las Vegas, serving as the primary technical owner of the Locus robotic fleet. Your responsibilities span hands-on technical support, operational optimization, and customer partnership.
Key responsibilities include: proactively monitoring system health, robot activity, and task execution to maximize uptime and performance; troubleshooting and repairing robots onsite as needed; conducting testing and validation to support product development; analyzing operational data (throughput, UPH, utilization) to generate actionable insights; and serving as the liaison between customer operations and internal Locus teams. You will also help develop standard operating procedures and best practices for future deployments.
You'll need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, plus at least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, robotics, automation, or technical customer-facing roles. Strong technical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with warehouse workflows and productivity metrics, and analytical ability are essential. The role requires comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments typical of early-stage product deployments, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence without direct authority. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently bend, stoop, walk, and reach. The position is fully onsite Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM local time, at the customer location.
