Locus Robotics is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to support Array, a next-generation fully autonomous picking solution deployed at customer sites. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role based onsite in Louisville, KY, working Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM ET.
You will serve as the onsite owner for Array system performance, ensuring daily operational success and stability. Key responsibilities include monitoring system health and robot activity, performing onsite troubleshooting and repairs to maintain uptime, and optimizing workflows to meet throughput targets and operational KPIs. You will conduct onsite testing and validation to support product development, compile and analyze operational data (throughput, UPH, lines per hour, utilization), and provide structured feedback on system performance and edge cases.
You will act as a critical liaison between customer operations and internal teams (Customer Success, Product, Sales, Engineering), ensuring clear communication of issues, priorities, and opportunities. You will also assist in developing standard operating procedures and playbooks for Array deployments and contribute to scaling efforts by helping define repeatable models for future deployments.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, plus 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, robotics, automation, or technical customer-facing roles. You should have familiarity with warehouse operations (picking workflows, labor management, productivity metrics), hands-on troubleshooting experience or strong technical aptitude, and strong analytical skills. You must be comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments typical of early-stage product deployments, able to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority, and willing to work onsite daily with flexible scheduling as needed. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
