As Onboarding Specialist, you will own the end-to-end customer onboarding experience for restaurant, café, bar, and coffee shop clients. Your responsibilities include running restaurant onboarding sessions (training, connecting, and implementing with merchant teams), problem-solving for customers during live operations, supporting restaurants through their first month post-launch, identifying process and product improvements, and communicating gaps to internal teams (product, engineering, operations).
Your day-to-day involves a mix of customer calls, project management, communication, and troubleshooting. You'll work directly with hospitality businesses to ensure smooth adoption and early success. The role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate merchant needs and a startup pace.
You should be a creative problem-solver with empathy for hospitality operators and curiosity about their business challenges. You're comfortable juggling multiple priorities, bringing structure to chaos, and becoming a product expert. Strong proactive communication and expectation management are essential. You need 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, early-stage startup operations, fast-paced account management, or customer operations. Fluency in both English and Dutch is required.
