Wander is building the operating system for the vacation rental industry, powering thousands of properties from direct-booking sites to guest experience to back-office operations. You will serve as the operational hub for new customer onboarding, owning the entire pipeline from contract signature to first booking.
In this hands-on role, you are the single source of truth for account and site status, timelines, blockers, and escalations. You will drive every new account from closed-won to live pre-booking in 14 days or less, acting as the air traffic controller coordinating across Sales, Site Builders, Customer Success Managers, and Engineering.
Key responsibilities include: managing the onboarding pipeline with complete visibility into account stage, site stage, blockers, and go-live dates; triaging blockers daily (PMS integration issues, missing assets, unresponsive team members, product gaps) and routing them to the right owner; assigning builds to Site Builders based on capacity, skill, and customer context; running weekly cadences with cross-functional teams to publish status, flag risk, and hold the line on dates; owning customer-facing communication during the build window with warm welcomes, status updates, and clear revision turnarounds; identifying patterns across multiple accounts and escalating systemic issues for process, automation, or product fixes; and partnering with Engineering and Operations to automate the workflow and reduce manual coordination.
You are a relentless operator who makes lists and works them without dropping balls. You stay calm under pressure managing 40+ concurrent accounts simultaneously. You are obsessive about details—dates, names, statuses, follow-ups are always correct and current. You are comfortable with operational tools and spreadsheets, and you thrive in a fast-moving, detail-oriented environment where you work shoulder-to-shoulder with cross-functional teams in Austin.
