Thunes is a global payments infrastructure company operating a Direct Global Network that enables real-time payments across 140+ countries and 90+ currencies. The network connects to over 12 billion mobile wallets, stablecoin wallets, and bank accounts, plus 15 billion cards through 220+ payment methods. Clients include Uber, Deliveroo, Grab, WeChat, and major financial institutions.
Reporting to the SVP Africa, you will serve as the primary point of contact between Sales & Business Development and internal operations. This is a single-contributor role with clear growth potential into account management or business development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Business Development during pre-sales stages, including pricing preparation and sales collateral development (slides, case studies)
- Coordinating new partner onboarding and managing the integration process across compliance, legal, technical, and internal/external stakeholders
- Preparing customized reports for BD, Account Management, and partners
- Resolving customer issues through cross-functional coordination
- Generating quarterly sales reports for Account Management
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM data
You will work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment supporting the sales team's annual objectives while building operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline
- 6+ years of work experience in a commercial corporate environment, ideally in Financial Services or Tech
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Excel (pivot tables, SUMIF, COUNTIF, VLookup, data visualization)
- CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce
- Highly organized, independent, and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong process discipline
- Flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
