Altruist is an AI-powered platform transforming wealth management by empowering financial advisors to grow their practices, optimize resources, and deliver better client outcomes. The company partners with financial advisors nationwide to make financial advice more accessible and affordable.
You will own the end-to-end onboarding experience for Altruist's largest and most complex enterprise clients—$1B+ RIAs, aggregator platforms, acquisition-driven roll-ups, and API-first firms. These engagements involve distributed decision-making, existing back-office teams, real operational complexity, and continuous advisor tranches rather than single go-live dates.
As an individual contributor with significant influence, you will carry a caseload of the most complex enterprise engagements while defining playbooks, milestones, and standards that enable the broader team to onboard enterprise firms consistently. You'll be the go-to expert when a firm's complexity exceeds the standard playbook.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end onboarding from sales handoff through operational readiness, training, and documented handoff to long-term support teams
- Translate how firms actually operate—structure, tech stack, operating model, business objectives—into credible transition plans
- Design engagements around actual firm organization, determining the right sessions, audiences, and on-site presence
- Navigate real constraints creatively: position platform strengths credibly, design workable paths around gaps, and build confidence through transparency
- Centralize and track product gaps, accommodations, and open asks for visibility across both organizations
- Define and enforce enterprise onboarding standards: playbooks, milestone definitions, decision points, and knowledge transfer requirements
- Build distinct approaches for different firm types (breakaway, aggregator, API-first, acquisition, hybrid) to keep tailoring deliberate
- Serve as the expertise the team draws on when complexity outruns the playbook
Credibility comes from understanding how large advisory firms and platforms operate, not from software expertise. You'll engage directly with COOs, CCOs, and principals, shaping their view of Altruist in the first thirty minutes through deep business acumen.
This role is positioned as an individual contributor with potential to expand into people leadership as the function and team scale, based on business needs and organizational evolution. Altruist is investing significantly in enterprise, and the onboarding model is scaling quickly—you'll have a real hand in shaping it rather than inheriting something finished.
Hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the Dallas/Culver City office.
