BitGo is seeking an experienced Onboarding Manager to lead and own the client onboarding function for its MAS-regulated Singapore entity, reporting to the APAC Managing Director. This is a player-coach role combining hands-on execution with team leadership and mentorship of an Onboarding Associate. Key responsibilities include managing the complete client lifecycle—onboarding, ongoing due diligence, periodic reviews, and offboarding. You will review and progress onboarding applications end-to-end, ensuring high execution quality, robust documentation, and timely completion. You'll manage onboarding queues and priorities to maintain strong throughput and service level adherence, identify information gaps, and partner closely with Compliance on escalations. The role includes owning client offboarding end-to-end, including sanctions-driven and risk-driven terminations, dormant account closures, and coordination with Operations and Compliance. Stakeholder management is critical: you'll partner with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams to move clients through onboarding effectively. You'll communicate requirements and blockers clearly, balance regulatory and risk requirements with commercial priorities, and help drive cases toward resolution. Operational excellence is a core focus. You'll define and continuously improve onboarding processes, workflows, controls, and operating standards. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, and Operations teams to improve systems and workflow logic. You'll develop quality assurance practices, define and track onboarding metrics (turnaround time, backlog aging), support external audits and regulatory examinations, and own remediation of audit findings. As a leader, you'll establish high standards for execution, ownership, documentation, and client experience across the APAC onboarding function, leading by example as a hands-on operator. Requirements: 5+ years in client onboarding, KYB/AML operations, financial crime operations, or related fintech/digital assets/payments roles. 1–2 years leading or owning an onboarding function preferred. Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements around KYB, corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and AML onboarding procedures required.
