Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI and autonomy, is seeking an Occupancy Space Planner for its Southern California operations. This role bridges workplace strategy and business operations, managing how people occupy space across office environments in a rapidly growing organization.
You will partner with HR, Division Leaders, and Facilities teams to track seating assignments, occupancy metrics, and future headcount requirements. Key responsibilities include developing stack plans and occupancy forecasts to support organizational growth, contraction, and restructuring. You'll maintain data integrity within space management software systems, ensuring accurate allocations, assignments, and move coordination. The role requires analyzing space utilization trends and generating reports for senior leadership and Real Estate teams.
Additional duties include maintaining occupancy-related layers in AutoCAD files, supporting seamless execution of seating changes, and assisting with space planning during mergers, acquisitions, and organizational changes. You'll be the connector ensuring scalability and agility in how the company manages its physical workspace.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in occupancy planning, corporate real estate, space planning, or workplace strategy. You must demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to data accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with space management tools are essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred qualifications include experience managing large, multi-site real estate portfolios, working knowledge of AutoCAD, background in corporate real estate or facilities management, and experience supporting hybrid or flexible seating models.
