Chargetrip is the EV routing and navigation engine for the energy transition. The company provides API-based solutions to fleets, rental/leasing companies, utilities, and OEMs to deliver energy-aware routing, dynamic charging planning, and CO₂ reductions. This role focuses on maintaining, developing, improving, and scaling Chargetrip's infrastructure to support EV routing services used by drivers worldwide.
You will work closely with Infrastructure and Backend teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of critical systems. Key responsibilities include standardizing deployments, ensuring infrastructure auditability, automating deployment processes, and implementing infrastructure-as-code solutions tailored to engineering team needs. You'll increase productivity, repeatability, and security across the infrastructure stack.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
- Proficiency in Linux environments, including command-line navigation, system administration, and service management with systemd
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols with basic network troubleshooting ability
- Working knowledge of Git for collaborative development and code management
Nice-to-have:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with tools like Terraform or Crossplane
- Foundational container knowledge and hands-on Docker experience; Kubernetes experience is a significant plus
- Scripting experience with Bash or Python for task automation
- Basic database understanding including SQL and NoSQL/in-memory caches like Redis
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD
- Experience with Prometheus monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager) or OpenTelemetry
- AWS or other cloud platform experience
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages like NodeJS
- Experience with load balancers, reverse proxies, or VPNs
