Salary: USD 175,000 - 220,000 / annual

The platform transforms siloed data into operational intelligence, surfacing mission-critical information to enable faster, better decisions. Peregrine currently supports hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, serving over 125 million people, with plans to expand into enterprise and international markets.
You will join the Business Operations & Strategy team, which sits within the office of the CEO and partners across product, engineering, delivery, and go-to-market functions. The team is service-oriented, focused on enhancing operations, driving 0→1 initiatives, and helping scale the company. The philosophy is that execution, trust, and culture matter most—the team acts on everything from corporate strategy to tactical execution, always in service of Peregrine and its people.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with leaders and teams across the company (deployment teams, leadership, CEO) to address growth bottlenecks, often in the "highly important but not urgent" quadrant
- Embedding deeply in domains, learning quickly, and delivering early wins to build momentum and trust
- Driving step-function change through whatever means necessary—building models, running operations, driving alignment, or hiring—while remaining culturally collaborative
- Rotating through projects (ranging from weeks to months) and spinning out when the right opportunity emerges for your career growth
- Supporting teammate development; the team prioritizes mutual growth and celebrates successful spin-outs
The team views BizOps as a "lily pad" role—a platform to develop leadership and operational skills before moving into other career directions, either at Peregrine or elsewhere.
Requirements:
- 4–8 years of relevant work experience, ideally combining management consulting, investment banking, or private equity with high-growth startup environments
- Demonstrated history of distinctiveness and driving stellar outcomes; a clear spike in something (skill, domain, impact) plus the character to thrive in a startup and be a culture carrier
- Clear, compelling communication and thinking; ability to distill complexity into simplicity and rally people around vision
- Strong analytical toolkit: Excel proficiency required; SQL, Python, and AI fluency are bonuses
- Entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset with strong ownership and bias toward action
- Low ego, openness to feedback, introspection, and inclination to support the team
- Located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
- Willingness to be in office 4 days per week
