Salary: USD 95,000 - 115,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy-efficient foundation for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. As a Material Planner, you will be the operational engine connecting production planning, physical inventory, and strategic sourcing for hardware manufacturing at scale.
You will own MRP execution and requirements netting, running Material Requirements Planning against the Master Production Schedule and Bill of Materials to ensure material feasibility across assigned commodity areas. Your core responsibilities include maintaining Clear-to-Build (CTB) coverage status by SKU, proactively identifying material shortages weeks ahead of floor execution, and escalating constraints to Strategic Sourcing before they impact production. You'll manage the supplier forecast and commitment cadence, sharing rolling forecasts with suppliers and securing lead-time and capacity commitments within negotiated commercial frameworks.
Additionally, you will set and maintain item-level ERP planning parameters (order policy, lot sizing, lead times, safety stock, make/buy flags, time fences) at MBOM release, partner with Materials Management on inventory accuracy and ABC classification, and represent the material constraint view during monthly Sales and Operations Planning forums.
You bring 2–5+ years of dedicated material planning, MRP execution, or supply/demand planning experience in a manufacturing environment. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). You have working knowledge of MRP logic, complex BOM structures, and ERP planning modules such as Acumatica. You are comfortable coordinating directly with suppliers and possess strong Excel and data manipulation skills for shortage tracking and net-requirement analysis.
Bonus qualifications include APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM), experience in hardware manufacturing or data center infrastructure, and hands-on Acumatica ERP experience.
