Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Material Planner to join its Supply Chain team in Waltham, Massachusetts. The Supply Chain team is responsible for planning and sourcing materials to support the rapid iteration and production of cutting-edge defense hardware systems.
In this role, you will own material flow responsibility across the entire value chain, from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers. You will have full ownership of certain assemblies and product lines, and will be responsible for sending accurate signals to Purchasing and Manufacturing teams regarding what and when to buy or build.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Demand Planning team to develop comprehensive supply plans that address the company's holistic material supply needs
- Proactively identifying and escalating material shortages to purchasing and production teams through clear-to-build and weeks-on-hand reporting
- Managing execution of the supply plan with Procurement to ensure stock level targets are maintained
- Collaborating with Procurement to ensure component availability and aligning production scheduling with material availability
- Partnering with Engineering teams to plan, track, and maintain material requirements throughout new product introduction (NPI) efforts
- Working cross-functionally with Engineering and Configuration Management teams
- Utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and associated tools to forecast supply, plan inventory levels, and ensure hardware requirements are met

You should be flexible, proactive, and capable of providing support across the supply chain to ensure products are built and shipped under stringent quality standards. This role is instrumental in supporting Anduril's mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.
