Flock is a telematics and AI-powered fleet safety company, recently acquired by Admiral (UK's leading motor insurer). The company uses real-time data and AI to help fleet customers prevent crashes proactively, paying out millions annually to fleets that improve safety outcomes.
You will be the second marketing hire, joining a Senior Marketing Manager. The team is doubling in size with a 3.5x budget increase, and you will own the execution of two core marketing engines: events and content.
Events: You'll plan the annual calendar (7-9 events) alongside the Senior Marketing Manager and own full delivery—trade shows, conferences, broker events, and customer events. This includes setting budgets, building stands, running events on the day, chasing leads, and reporting ROI.
Content: You'll shape strategy with the Senior Marketing Manager and produce content at volume. LinkedIn and the Flock blog are priorities, plus video and website copy. You'll work closely with underwriting, distribution, and product teams to extract compelling stories from busy stakeholders.
AI Integration: Flock is built on AI and expects marketing to match that standard. You'll be the person who brings new AI tools into the office, demonstrates their value, and uses them to draft, edit, repurpose, and scale content while maintaining a human voice that resonates with brokers and customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Own social media strategy with LinkedIn as primary channel (product videos, carousels, infographics, PDFs, consistent posting and engagement measurement)
- Create content at volume: case studies, articles, industry news, thought leadership, product launch material (several times per month)
- Film and produce videos: people stories, product walkthroughs, interviews
- Coordinate and execute 7-9 annual events
- Design assets in Claude Design and Figma to agency-quality standards
- Work with AI tools daily to scale content while maintaining voice and judgment
Workplace: Hybrid, typically three days per week in Central London office (near Moorgate and Liverpool Street). Fewer office days can be accommodated for longer commutes. Client visits, conferences, and broker office visits count toward office days.
Requirements:
- Significant content creation and social media experience, ideally in B2B tech, with measurable results from owning and executing a social strategy
- Portfolio of work you can share immediately
- Strong copywriting and communication skills, proven in published work
- Track record organizing and coordinating trade shows, conferences, or business events, plus internal events for customers and stakeholders
- Hands-on design skills in Figma and Claude Design (Adobe Creative Cloud a bonus)
- Startup experience: worked somewhere small enough to own outcomes end-to-end, spot improvements, and act without waiting for a brief
- Confident, critical use of AI across marketing work
- Nice to have: video editing experience, exposure to insurance, fleet, or telematics
