Novig is building America's leading sports prediction market, recently designated by the CFTC as a regulated market. The company is backed by top-tier investors including Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana, with over $100M in funding. As Market Operations Specialist, you'll sit at the intersection of sports, markets, and technology. You'll curate and launch featured markets in real time, responding to live sports moments—injuries, trades, coaching changes, and breaking news. Your decisions directly shape what users see at the top of the app and which markets go live during peak engagement windows. Key responsibilities include: - Creating and featuring daily markets tied to major sports storylines (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAAF, NCAAB, soccer, UFC) - Monitoring live games and trading activity to make fast, data-driven decisions on new market launches - Engaging directly with the community on Discord, gathering prop requests, and bringing user feedback to product - Collaborating with marketing to design creative markets around major events (free agency, trade deadlines, playoffs) - Working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and support teams to improve the platform - Tracking sports conversations and trends on social media to ensure markets reflect real-time fan sentiment - Potentially building automation tools to reduce manual workload and increase efficiency You're a sports fanatic with a trader's mindset and deep knowledge of major leagues. You thrive in fast-paced, real-time environments and are energized by direct community interaction. You're comfortable working nights, weekends, and during peak sports moments. You think like a product person, understand market dynamics, and can make quick decisions under pressure. A technical background is a bonus. The role demands flexibility around live sports schedules and a bias toward action over process. You'll own real systems, see decisions ship quickly, and work with a talented, fast-moving team.
