Venus Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Integration Facing) to serve as the critical technical bridge between Engineering and Integration teams. You will own the end-to-end manufacturing process for complex aerospace assemblies, from design translation through production validation. Key Responsibilities: - Write clear, accurate assembly instructions and develop component-level test plans that capture engineering requirements and intent - Act as the technical translator between Engineering and Integration, designing necessary test plans and tooling for execution - Drive process development by identifying workflow gaps, designing required tooling, and validating resulting processes - Conduct process planning by assessing manufacturing capabilities and determining tooling requirements - Collaborate directly with design teams to inform them of manufacturing capabilities and cost drivers in assembly - Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and resolve build issues in real time - Lead mixed teams through the stand-up and deployment of new manufacturing processes while establishing long-term capability plans - Partner with industry experts to identify key technologies and lead initiatives to integrate them into manufacturing workflows - Maintain clear, organized, and up-to-date documentation throughout all processes This role requires hands-on involvement with physical product during builds, tests, and process validation. You will work in a fast-paced environment where manufacturing excellence directly impacts program success. Note: This position involves access to ITAR-controlled technology. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Requirements: - 5+ years of manufacturing experience (aerospace preferred) - Engineering degree OR 10+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience - High proficiency with computers and digital workflow tools - Familiarity with CAD software; NX and CATIA experience strongly preferred - Proven experience working with complex assemblies and associated test procedures - Comfortable working directly with physical product during builds, tests, and process validation - Experience with PLM or ERP systems - Exposure to ASME/AS9100 industry standards
