Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, Digital Tools to join the Digital Manufacturing team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on the internal deployment and adoption of Anduril's ProductionOS manufacturing software solutions, optimizing manufacturing operations through advanced digital solutions.
You will work with manufacturing and software leadership to develop and implement novel manufacturing software strategies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to align the manufacturing software roadmap with business objectives, monitoring industry trends and best practices, and driving adoption of manufacturing software solutions across the company. You will own the feedback loop between users and developers, ensuring that software implementations meet real-world operational needs.
Additional duties include creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of manufacturing software standard instructions and best practices, and communicating complex technical information to diverse stakeholders across the organization.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, User Experience Design, or related field, plus 5+ years of experience in a digital manufacturing environment. You must have familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, and understand how they interface with operations. Strong user empathy, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. You must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
