Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Workplace Manager to lead operations across its Southern California footprint. Reporting to the Real Estate & Facilities division, you will oversee daily workplace operations, employee experience, and facilities maintenance across corporate offices, R&D labs, and production/manufacturing spaces.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for all workplace and facilities requests, managing a site ticket system to ensure efficient resolution of issues. You'll develop transparent communications to employees about workplace updates, projects, and improvements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Production, R&D, IT, Business Development, Leadership), you'll track space utilization, support onboarding logistics, and ensure spaces are safe, functional, and inspiring.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering workplace projects on time and within budget, managing site operational expenses and financial reporting, overseeing vendor relationships for outsourced services, and managing office supplies, equipment, and food/beverage services. You will mentor and delegate to associate workplace managers, ensuring effective workload distribution and professional development.
Required: 4+ years progressive experience in workplace operations or facilities management. You must demonstrate strong outcome orientation, exceptional communication skills, budgeting and financial acumen, ability to work independently in fast-paced environments, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to safety compliance. Preferred: experience in startups, tech companies, aerospace firms, or manufacturers; multi-site facility management; CAFM/IWMS platforms or ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow); and prior experience managing junior workplace staff.
