Anduril Industries is seeking a Manager of Supplier Quality Engineering to lead the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) Precision Mechanical team. This is a leadership position accountable for the growth and performance of the team, responsible for defining, developing, and executing processes that produce high-quality and reliable precision machined parts used across all Anduril product lines.
You will drive early engagement with internal design and sourcing teams while building strong collaborative partnerships with suppliers to meet quality requirements consistently. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with design teams to support product development, provide design-for-manufacturability feedback, and generate product data for precision mechanical parts that enable supplier quality success.
- Leveraging expertise in machining, molding, additive manufacturing, fabrication, and inspection/measurement to elevate the internal design process by providing leadership that manages supplier technical risks from proof-of-concept prototypes through scaled volume production.
- Partnering with supply chain to deliver predictable supply and overall supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and production fulfillment by managing alignment between product requirements and supplier capabilities.
- Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and supplier development programs.
- Managing supplier quality metrics, audits, and performance reviews.
- Establishing systems criteria and metrology standards.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain management, supplier development, systems criteria, metrology, and continuous improvement methodologies. Success requires extreme ownership in delivering results and supporting Anduril's mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced defense technology.
