Emburse is seeking a Manager of Security Governance & Risk to lead the company's security governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) function. This is a people-leadership role managing a team of GRC professionals who handle day-to-day audit execution. The Manager owns the GRC operating model, platform strategy, governance, configuration standards, data integrity, automation, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading enterprise security risk management initiatives
- Developing security metrics and reporting frameworks
- Establishing governance for AI use across Emburse's AI-enabled products and internal AI applications
- Maturing how the organization identifies, measures, and communicates security risk
- Ensuring quality and effectiveness of the broader GRC program
- Providing decision-ready reporting for executives and the Board
- Growing and developing team members
The ideal candidate combines deep GRC expertise with strong analytical rigor. You'll translate control and risk data into actionable insights for leadership, establish governance frameworks for a rapidly evolving AI landscape, and build a high-performing team. This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence, managing both the people and processes that keep Emburse's security and compliance posture strong as the company scales.
