Clio, a global leader in legal AI technology, is seeking a Manager of Sales Operations to drive growth by optimizing revenue processes during a pivotal expansion phase. You will lead a high-performing Revenue Operations team focused on supporting SMB segment sales at scale, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product leadership.
Key responsibilities include building and mentoring a team of 4+ direct reports, developing and operationalizing revenue strategies aligned with company growth objectives, and creating tools and frameworks that support new market entry, expansion, and renewal motions. You will own the Lead-to-Cash lifecycle across systems including Salesforce, CPQ, Stripe, and NetSuite, ensuring processes scale effectively across regions and product lines.
You will develop accurate global sales territories using historical data and market trends, partner with sales leadership on quota and capacity planning, and drive rigor in forecasting and pipeline management. Additionally, you'll prepare recurring reports and dashboards on sales performance, conduct win/loss analysis, and translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of people leadership experience managing 4+ direct reports, plus 7+ years in operations, sales, management consulting, finance, or investment banking. You should be comfortable in matrix environments, influencing without direct authority, and have strong familiarity with Salesforce, SalesLoft, Gong, CPQ platforms, and analytics tools like Tableau or PowerBI. A builder mentality is essential—this is not a manager-only role. You'll need strong communication skills, analytical rigor, and the ability to manage change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. An MBA is preferred. Travel to/within Canada one week per quarter is required.
