FlixBus is seeking a Regional Operations Manager based in Lisbon to oversee all operational aspects of bus partner relationships and service delivery across Portugal. In this hands-on role, you will manage bus partner operations, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in fleet performance, driver quality, and punctuality. You'll build and maintain long-term partnerships with bus operators and manage Flix presence in bus stations, particularly in the Porto area, requiring monthly travel within the country (typically with overnight stays). Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with FlixBus procedures, training and supporting drivers, conducting quality inspections, overseeing new line launches, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including Line Planning and Business Development. You'll also provide field support for bus station management and other operational structures as needed. The ideal candidate brings 3–6 years of operations experience in transportation within Portugal and/or Spain, with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders including terminal managers, drivers, supervisors, and regional authorities. You should be organized, trustworthy, resourceful, and flexible with a hands-on mentality. Strong negotiation and social skills are essential, along with the ability to balance daily operational requests with longer-term strategic initiatives. Native or proficient Portuguese and fluent English are required; Spanish is a plus. You must be willing to travel monthly and occasionally internationally (up to twice yearly).
