ApplyBoard is a platform that simplifies international student applications by connecting students, advisors, and educational institutions. The Manager, Partner Success role is a critical leadership position at the intersection of ApplyBoard and its partner institutions, serving as the key liaison between school admissions teams and internal Customer Experience, Product, and Sales teams.
In this role, you will oversee a dedicated processing team and manage a portfolio of partner institutions. You are accountable for both internal service levels and external enrollment and conversion targets. You act as the in-house expert and primary point of contact for all aspects of assigned institutions, including process management, strategic planning, technology integration, and operational execution.
Key responsibilities include:
**Leadership & Performance**: Achieve and exceed partner and business unit enrollment targets. Monitor team performance KPIs on individual and team basis. Track rejections, cancellations, training completion, and manage underperformance. Provide mentorship, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain strong team communication and alignment.
**Partner & Admissions Management**: Own the full application funnel from evaluation to enrollment for assigned schools. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with partners through account management plans. Lead new school onboarding, gather requirements, conduct research, and participate in kickoff calls. Serve as the single point of contact for all admission-related matters. Stay current on partner information, industry trends, and government strategy.
**Process Improvement**: Continuously optimize the application process to improve conversion and processing time. Source and implement latest partner information in ApplyBoard systems. Collaborate with Knowledge Management to update documentation and increase platform adoption. Monitor automation tool success rates and identify improvement areas.
**Internal Support**: Address support tickets and ensure quick resolution. Collaborate with Customer Support on irregularities and compliance issues. Engage with Sales to understand customer experience and set expectations for smooth operations.
You bring a Bachelor's degree (minimum Associate's), 3-4 years in customer experience or account management, and 1+ years in people management. You have strong operational ownership, solid data analysis skills, and ability to lead cross-functional teams. You excel at relationship management, process optimization, and performance coaching with high attention to detail. You're adaptable, work well under pressure, and deliver quality work on tight deadlines.
