Beyond Aero is redefining premium air travel with direct flights via private terminals, operating a fleet of 7+ aircraft over 12,500 lbs maximum certificated takeoff weight. The Manager of Security owns day-to-day administration of the company's TSA-approved security program and ensures full compliance across on-demand and public charter operations.
Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining security procedures covering passenger and accessible property screening, restricted-area and aircraft access controls, threat response protocols, and personnel vetting. The role serves as the primary liaison to the TSA and other government stakeholders, ensuring adherence to the TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program (TFSSP) and DOT/14 CFR Part 380 regulations for public charter service.
The successful candidate will continuously improve security procedures, manage compliance documentation, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and lead security operations across domestic and international locations. This is a hands-on management role requiring deep knowledge of aviation security regulations, TSA requirements, and operational security best practices. The position requires residency within one hour's drive of one of Aero's primary operating locations (Van Nuys, Aspen, Opa-Locka, or Teterboro/Westchester) with travel to operating locations as needed.
