Salary: USD 125,000 - 130,000 / annual
Datadog is seeking a Manager, Mid-Market Sales to lead and mentor a team of Mid-Market Account Executives. This role is central to one of the company's largest revenue lines, focused on selling observability and security solutions to mid-sized enterprises (1,000–5,000 employees).
You will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing sales team. Key responsibilities include:
• Motivating and coaching a team of Mid-Market Account Executives to exceed sales objectives
• Hiring, onboarding, and training new team members, ensuring rapid ramp and success
• Developing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline metrics
• Driving lead generation, activity standards, and pipeline management across the team
• Monitoring the full sales funnel from prospect identification through deal closure
• Creating performance metrics and coaching strategies to continuously improve team results
• Facilitating team development and career growth through mentorship and professional development

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in tech industry direct sales, with a track record managing outbound sales teams
• Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud solutions and Salesforce
• Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast team performance
• Strong passion for coaching, mentorship, and team management
• Self-starter mentality with ability to thrive in high-growth, rapidly changing environments
• Proven experience overseeing all areas of the sales cycle
• Motivated by helping people grow and committed to continuous learning
