HarmonyCares is a leading national value-based provider of in-home primary care services for people with complex healthcare needs. The company operates home-based primary care practices across 14 states and employs over 200 primary care providers delivering patient-centered care under an integrated, team-based, physician-driven model.
The Manager – Market Operations is part of the operations leadership team, responsible for providing analytical support and overseeing market operations. This role translates strategic vision into operational execution and builds the infrastructure to support market growth and efficiency. The position manages a multi-million-dollar P&L (~$5M revenue).
Key responsibilities include: maintaining comprehensive understanding of daily operations, policies, and procedures; identifying roadblocks and process gaps; ensuring effective rollout and adherence to workflow changes. The role owns and drives reporting on operational performance and care management metrics, including regular KPI review, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and results presentation. You will translate performance metrics into actionable operational recommendations, partnering collaboratively across teams to execute findings.
Additional duties include creating metrics for data-driven mentoring and feedback to clinical and administrative staff; collaborating with local and shared services colleagues on continuous improvement initiatives; serving as engagement champion to grow total census under management; acting as day-to-day project manager on key market initiatives; and leading an administrative team responsible for market operations including executive visit preparation, vendor coordination, PTO/payroll administration, facilities management, workforce planning, new hire onboarding, supply management, and calendar coordination.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or 3+ years of administrative management experience in healthcare (preferably managed care/value-based care); experience managing ~$5M P&L; familiarity with value-based arrangements including shared savings and risk; experience managing and leading teams; analytic and decisive mindset with ability to prioritize and communicate objectives. Healthcare focus strongly preferred.
