As Manager of IT Support for EMEA, you will be based in Amsterdam and lead a distributed team of nine IT support engineers across three offices (Amsterdam, Madrid, London). You will own the regional IT support function, driving both operational excellence and strategic improvements across the EMEA region while contributing to global IT experience initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
**Leadership & Strategy**: Develop and execute 1-year and 3-year support strategies aligned with business goals. Supervise, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed team of varying seniority levels. Set clear performance goals, provide coaching, and foster a growth-oriented culture.
**Operational Excellence**: Deliver best-in-class IT support experience for EMEA offices. Identify and implement process improvements and automation to eliminate repetitive work. Coordinate planning and agile execution of support improvement projects, managing timelines and budgets.
**Technical Leadership**: Make architectural and tooling decisions for the team. Provide hands-on technical guidance and support when needed. Deep experience required with cloud tools (Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Slack), macOS administration, ticket management systems, and scripting/automation.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**: Partner with regional senior management to translate business needs into technical projects. Work with Business Enablement, HR, Compliance, Procurement, and Workplace Experience teams. Manage vendor relationships and navigate conflicting priorities across time zones.
