Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships faster and cheaper. The company is expanding rapidly with Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, and now launching Factory 4 in Cherokee, Alabama. As Manager, IT Site Lead, you will own day-to-day IT operations at the new Cherokee facility and serve as the primary IT contact for the entire site. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant autonomy and accountability. Key responsibilities include: Site Operations: Own all on-site IT support for facility and production staff. Manage device lifecycle using asset management and MDM tools. Maintain local network and infrastructure health, escalating to central teams as needed. Serve as on-call escalation point for site support needs. Construction Support: Support the IT buildout of the facility in partnership with central IT teams. Coordinate with facilities and construction teams on electrical and low-voltage infrastructure placement. Receive, stage, and deploy endpoint hardware, peripherals, and AV/conferencing equipment. Onboarding & Staffing: Own IT onboarding and offboarding for all employees—hardware setup, account provisioning, access grants, and Day 1 readiness. Serve as on-site point of contact for IT questions and new hire walkthroughs. Hire, train, and lead a growing local IT team as the facility scales. Security & Compliance: Enforce Hadrian's security tooling and policies including EDR, MDM, and IAM. Support CMMC Level 2 compliance for CUI handling. Coordinate with central IT and InfoSec on incidents and vulnerability remediation. Vendor & Asset Management: Manage local vendor relationships, hardware maintenance contracts, and ISP coordination. Maintain accurate asset inventory. Manage shipping and receiving of IT and infrastructure materials. You will report to the Director of IT and work closely with central teams covering infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, and systems across all Hadrian sites. This role requires high independence, accountability, and proactive problem-solving without a local IT manager to lean on. Required qualifications: Strong networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewall administration, Wi-Fi). Endpoint management experience with Intune, Mosyle, or FleetDM. Familiarity with Okta for identity and access management. Experience owning employee IT onboarding end-to-end. Ability to operate as a remote extension of a distributed team. Manufacturing or industrial environment experience strongly preferred. CMMC, ITAR, and CUI handling experience a plus. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required due to ITAR regulations.
