Impulse seeks a Manager of IT Engineering & Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and operation of infrastructure platforms supporting integration, test, and engineering (AI&T) environments. This role owns the technical backbone of AI&T systems, including lab infrastructure, test networks, compute platforms, and supporting services required for reliable and repeatable test operations. You will lead a team of systems and network engineers while partnering closely with AI&T and engineering organizations to ensure infrastructure supports system integration, validation, and mission readiness. Reporting into IT with functional alignment to the AI&T team, you will drive infrastructure strategy and execution directly supporting integration and test objectives. Key responsibilities include defining and executing infrastructure strategy for integration, test, and engineering environments; overseeing architecture and lifecycle management for networks, compute, storage, cloud, and lab infrastructure; ensuring high availability, scalability, reliability, and time-synchronized operations across test systems; and leading and developing systems and network engineering teams while establishing technical standards and best practices. You will drive technical decision-making aligned with long-term operational, scalability, and reliability goals; manage infrastructure supporting test facilities, lab environments, structured cabling, and real-time data systems; and coordinate test stand deployments, facility upgrades, and infrastructure readiness for integration and test activities. Additionally, you will lead automation, infrastructure-as-code, and platform engineering initiatives to improve deployment consistency and operational efficiency; establish monitoring, observability, incident response, and root cause analysis practices to ensure operational excellence; and ensure compliance with enterprise security, zero-trust architecture, regulatory requirements, and secure engineering data management while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. Required qualifications: 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related domains; 2+ years of leadership or team management experience; experience leading technical teams supporting complex infrastructure environments; strong background in networking, systems, and platform engineering; experience designing and operating infrastructure in lab, test, or engineering environments; proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions; and strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
