Datadog is seeking a Manager of Technical Support Engineering to lead a fast-paced team of Solutions Engineers in Tokyo. You will manage, develop, and mentor a team that responds to client requests, reproduces and troubleshoots issues, and works with Datadog's 1000+ integrations. Your responsibilities include ensuring successful onboarding of new team members, triaging Solutions Engineering queues, prioritizing escalations, and following up with customers in Japan. You'll oversee demo training and certification, assist with incident response during outages, and build documentation and knowledge base articles for various technologies. The role requires rotating on-call schedules with weekend availability. You'll work collaboratively with Product and Engineering teams on urgent matters and dispatch customer requests throughout the day. This is a hybrid role based in Tokyo, reflecting Datadog's commitment to office culture and collaboration while supporting work-life harmony.
