Deliveroo is seeking a Manager of Financial Processes to lead the design, optimization, and rollout of merchant-facing payment and financial processes. You will own end-to-end payment process design, including Cash on Delivery (COD) and Cash on Bank Deposit (COBD) workflows, mapping current state, identifying inefficiencies, and continuously improving operations to enhance partner experience while reducing costs.
Key responsibilities include: mapping and documenting all payment-related processes with clear success metrics; partnering with Commercial, Legal, Policy, and Care teams to shape partner-facing policies and ensure regulatory compliance; monitoring key performance indicators across partner-facing processes and building data-driven improvement roadmaps with business cases; and leading cross-functional go-to-market initiatives for policy and process changes, including stakeholder communication, training, and post-launch performance reviews.
You will manage medium to large-scale initiatives across multiple markets, driving execution and ensuring consistent process adherence. This role requires strong project and change management experience, with proven ability to guide multiple stakeholders through organizational change. You should be comfortable with process design and mapping, have sharp problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, and demonstrate solid business acumen in understanding Deliveroo's merchant model and customer needs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder influence are essential—you'll present ideas confidently to varied audiences and navigate cross-functional alignment. You are a natural collaborator who works effectively across functions and can resolve misalignment between teams. The ideal candidate combines practical change management experience with the ability to cut through surface-level observations to identify root causes and generate well-reasoned recommendations.
