Salary: USD 135,000 - 210,000 / annual

As Manager of Engagement Management, Strategic, you will lead and develop a team of senior Engagement Managers responsible for Profound's most complex, highest-value, and most executive-visible customer relationships. You'll set strategic direction for the team, define engagement methodologies and playbooks for accounts with the highest stakes and stakeholder complexity, and ensure your team drives outcomes that matter at the board level.
Key responsibilities include: leading, coaching, and developing senior Engagement Managers with focus on customer outcomes and professional growth; owning team-level retention, adoption, and expansion metrics across a concentrated portfolio of strategic accounts; establishing and refining engagement processes and playbooks for complex customer scenarios; conducting regular one-on-ones and team meetings to monitor customer health and drive proactive intervention; serving as senior escalation point for highest-priority customer situations and partnering with executive stakeholders; coaching your team on executive presence and boardroom-level business reviews; collaborating with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering leadership to align engagement strategies with commercial goals; aggregating customer feedback to influence product roadmap priorities; building deep expertise in AI search and ensuring team evolution; and recruiting and onboarding top talent.
You bring 7+ years in customer success, account management, or consulting, with at least 2 years directly managing and developing a team. You have proven experience owning strategic, enterprise-level customer relationships with executive sponsors and significant revenue concentration. You're an excellent communicator with strong executive presence, capable of coaching others on strategic conversations and leading them personally. You have a strong operational mindset, experience designing scalable processes and performance frameworks, and are data-driven with comfort setting team KPIs. You thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, high-growth environments, excel at cross-functional collaboration, and ideally have experience in search or marketing.
