Salary: USD 90,000 - 100,000 / annual
Allara is a comprehensive women's health platform serving over 60,000 patients nationwide, specializing in hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive care. As Manager of Credentialing & Payer Operations, you will lead the operational engine that enables provider enrollment, credentialing, and payer-side processes at scale.
In the Credentialing function, you will build and strengthen structures to ensure timely, compliant provider credentialing while automating and optimizing processes. You'll administer the Credentialing Committee in collaboration with clinical leadership, manage relationships with credentialing vendors to monitor SLA performance, and own provider data maintenance architecture.
For Payer Enrollment, you'll serve as the subject matter expert on provider enrollments with health plans, developing key relationships and embedding enrollment processes into team workflows. You'll design quality controls and error-catching checkpoints to reduce rework and rejected applications, meticulously document updates, and actively monitor team performance and SLAs to identify and solve root cause issues.
Your leadership responsibilities include coaching and leading a team of US-based and international specialists, coordinating cross-functionally with RCM and business development teams to investigate systemic problems, training new team members, setting performance standards, and working with product and engineering to design automations and AI-based workflows that improve team efficiency and consistency.
You bring 5+ years of high-growth operations experience with direct exposure to provider credentialing, licensing, and payer enrollment. You're process-obsessed, detail-oriented, analytically strong, and genuinely excited by automation and AI as force multipliers. Preferred experience includes telehealth, multi-state provider networks, payer portals (Availity), commercial payer requirements, and credentialing standards (NCQA, CMS).
