HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven solutions for coronary artery disease diagnosis and management. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides non-invasive cardiac assessment and is supported by ACC/AHA guidelines. With over 750,000 patients treated globally and cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, HeartFlow is scaling its product pipeline and organizational capabilities.
As Manager, Corporate Strategy, you will be a core strategic partner to executive leadership, responsible for shaping enterprise direction and driving high-impact initiatives. You will work across three primary domains:
**Enterprise Strategy & Portfolio Direction:** Partner with the executive team and Finance to develop HeartFlow's enterprise strategy, strategic priorities, and long-range plan. Evaluate where the company should expand—across products, clinical use cases, customer segments, geographies, and adjacent markets. Size opportunities, assess strategic fit and competitive positioning, and develop clear investment recommendations. Frame and answer high-stakes business questions using market research, competitive analysis, customer insights, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
**Strategic Execution & Business Transformation:** Lead a small number of enterprise-wide initiatives critical to growth and scale, from problem definition through cross-functional alignment and measurable outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve how HeartFlow creates and captures value, including pricing models, customer economics, operating model evolution, and scalable processes. Work with Finance and functional leaders to evaluate competing capital and resource uses, building fact-based cases for investment prioritization and explicit stop-doing decisions. Translate strategic priorities into clear objectives, milestones, owners, and performance measures, establishing governance routines that keep major initiatives tied to enterprise outcomes.
**Decision Support & Strategic Intelligence:** Develop strategy narratives, decision memos, and board materials that synthesize complex information into clear strategic rationale, financial implications, and recommended paths forward. Build a forward-looking view of competitive, market, and industry forces shaping HeartFlow's business, including reimbursement, clinical evidence, and healthcare trends. Use AI tools and LLMs to accelerate research, synthesis, analysis, and presentation creation.
This role requires exceptional structured problem-solving, market and financial analysis, executive-level communication, and cross-functional influence without direct reporting authority. You will operate in a fast-paced environment where the most important questions are often not fully defined at the outset. Moderate travel is expected for internal planning sessions, leadership offsites, industry conferences, and select external meetings.
**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of combined pre- and post-MBA experience in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, strategic finance, business operations, or similarly analytical strategy role

- Cross-functional leadership: proven ability to influence, align, and drive work across teams without direct reporting authority
- Strong business judgment, curiosity, and desire to develop deep knowledge of HeartFlow's products, customers, economics, and medical technology industry
- High ownership and comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- AI mindset and comfort leveraging LLMs and modern tools
- Experience in medical device, biopharma, healthcare technology, or complex regulated industry preferred but not required
- Experience working with executive teams on strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, or major cross-functional initiatives is a strong plus
