Anduril Industries is seeking a Manager of Business Operations to join the Air Defense business line in Irvine, California. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution, owning the operational infrastructure that enables the Air Defense team to scale rapidly.
You will partner directly with Program Managers, Engineering Leaders, and Strategic Growth personnel to lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects. Key responsibilities include:
Workforce Planning: Own the staffing infrastructure for Air Defense, managing headcount planning, recruiting coordination with Talent Acquisition, demand/supply forecasting, and charge code governance. You'll build tooling and processes that enable efficient resource allocation as the organization scales.
Facilities Operations: Manage Air Defense's facility strategy and execution across 5+ US facilities and an expanding international footprint, including neighborhood management, space planning, and seating coordination for organizational growth.
Operational Excellence: Define and evolve the Confluence information architecture for Air Defense, driving adoption and content hygiene. You'll be handed ambiguous, messy problems across production, finance, growth strategy, hiring, real estate, and other business needs—and you'll own them end-to-end from definition through implementation.
Stakeholder Leadership: Act as connective tissue across complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders, often in gray-area scope. You'll project manage across many teams, leading meetings and wrangling stakeholders toward solutions.
Required: 5+ years in consulting, finance, or operating roles at high-growth tech companies; demonstrated experience with headcount planning, demand/supply forecasting, or workforce modeling; experience managing multi-site facility operations or real estate coordination; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high ownership and low ego; proactive approach to problem-solving; detail-oriented and data-driven; eligibility for US Secret security clearance.
Preferred: MBA or advanced degree; experience with Palantir Foundry, Looker, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
