Salary: USD 108,000 - 144,000 / annual
Datadog is seeking a Manager for Premier Support Engineering to lead a team of technical support engineers in Denver. You will manage, develop, coach, and mentor Premier Support Engineers who respond to client requests, troubleshoot issues, and work with Datadog's 600+ integrations. As the owner of your team's accountability and performance, you'll partner with upper management on performance reviews, performance plans, and employee relations matters for your direct reports.
Key responsibilities include ensuring successful training and onboarding of new hires, guiding the team through technical training and certifications, building documentation and knowledge base articles for various technologies, and driving projects to improve team productivity and processes. You'll collaborate with internal teams and customers on high-priority escalations, serving as a resource to resolve escalations from team members.
You are passionate about people management and mentorship with previous experience leading a team. You are self-motivated, detail-attentive, and have a desire for continuous learning. You approach problems with a client-centric mindset and possess some programming experience and basic Linux knowledge. Active contribution to open-source projects and the engineering community is valued.
