Believe, a global artist development company operating in 50+ countries, is seeking an M&A Project Manager to support the execution of the Group's music catalogue acquisition strategy. Reporting to the Head of M&A, you will manage music catalogue acquisition processes from pricing through deal closing and integration, working closely with senior executives, entrepreneurs, producers, publishers, and artists.
Key responsibilities include:
**Deal Execution & Financial Analysis**: Analyze past catalogue performance, model future cash flows, and determine acquisition prices. You will bring a hands-on approach to catalogue deal flow, extracting value and clarity from raw data to support informed decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
**Data Management & Automation**: Clean, harmonize, and aggregate large volumes of complex data (catalogue reports, CSV/Excel, PDFs) using advanced tools such as Power Query, macros, Python, SQL, or AI/LLM technologies to streamline asset analysis and automate reporting dashboards for publishing and recording catalogues.
**Due Diligence Coordination**: Oversee the due diligence process, including financial, legal, IP, and tax reviews.
**Negotiation & Documentation**: Negotiate key business and financial terms of transactions in collaboration with the M&A Senior Lawyer (non-binding agreements, asset purchase agreements). Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
**Integration Planning**: Prepare post-acquisition integration kick-off meetings and anticipate integration of catalogues in close collaboration with the PMI team.
The position is based in Luxembourg with travel to the Group's headquarters in Paris on an as-needed basis.
**Requirements**:
- Master's degree in business or finance
- At least 3 years of experience in Transaction Services, M&A advisory, or Corporate M&A (IP acquisition experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to operate credibly with entrepreneurs, senior executives, and investors
- Strong ability to manage, process, and consolidate large datasets with hands-on experience in data automation tools (Power Query, macros, Python, SQL, or AI/Generative LLM prompt execution)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
- Excellent financial, valuation, and strategic analysis skills
- Fluent English required; French is a strong plus
