Verkada is seeking an experienced Localization Manager to lead its end-to-end localization program. The company is a high-growth, venture-backed physical AI platform with 30,000+ customers (including 100+ Fortune 500 companies), $5.8B valuation, and $1B+ annualized bookings. The role sits at the intersection of translation vendors, product, marketing, and regional teams, ensuring content—from UI strings to landing pages to sales collateral—is linguistically accurate, culturally relevant, and delivered on schedule. Key responsibilities include: managing translation and localization vendor relationships, SOWs, and SLAs; maintaining quality assurance across product, web, and marketing content through linguistic QA and style guide management; leading end-to-end new language/locale launches; partnering with regional marketing and sales teams to localize go-to-market materials; customizing and managing localized landing pages; continuously improving localization workflows and tooling (TMS, automation, string handoff); tracking spend, volume, and turnaround-time metrics; and staying informed on regional nuances and competitive localization practices. Required qualifications: 4+ years in localization management, translation project management, or related global content/marketing roles; proven experience managing translation vendors and multi-language programs at scale; hands-on expertise with Translation Management Systems (Smartling, Lokalise, Phrase, Crowdin); strong project management skills for concurrent language releases; excellent cross-functional communication with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales; deep understanding of i18n and l10n best practices; quality-first mindset with attention to linguistic and cultural detail; continuous-improvement mentality; experience with AI-assisted translation and quality workflows; fluency in English plus proficiency in another language (Korean or Japanese preferred); Bachelor's degree in Business, Linguistics, International Studies, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent). B2B SaaS, hardware/IoT, or security industry experience is a plus.
