Graphcore is seeking a Linux and Manufacturing Support Engineer to join its Infrastructure Solutions team in Taipei. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of Linux systems that support Graphcore's engineering and manufacturing operations.
You will manage Debian and RedHat environments across both bare metal and virtual machine infrastructure. Core responsibilities include maintaining critical services such as DNS, DHCP, and NFS, supporting on-premises servers, and enabling engineering workflows. You will handle support requests ranging from direct troubleshooting to complex Linux and network issues, working methodically to diagnose and resolve problems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supporting Debian and RedHat derivative systems in production environments
- Maintaining core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, NFS) and on-premises servers
- Assessing and delivering security patches to keep systems current and secure
- Automating infrastructure changes through Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues with a methodical, evidence-based approach
- Documenting technical knowledge and processes to support team efficiency
- Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues through to completion
- Identifying opportunities to improve infrastructure deployment, support, and maintenance processes
You will work within a multidisciplinary Infrastructure Solutions team that values open communication, shared problem-solving, and continuous improvement. The team moves quickly from diagnosis to action and encourages team members to speak up, challenge established approaches, and document solutions for broader benefit.

Requirements:
- Strong Linux administration skills across Debian and RedHat derivatives, on both bare metal and virtual machines
- Proven system administration experience with responsibility for core infrastructure services
- Methodical troubleshooting approach with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools with Git version control
- Good networking knowledge including VLANs, routing, and subnetting
- Clear communication and customer service skills with confidence supporting colleagues and engineering teams
- Legal right to work in Taiwan (visa sponsorship not available)
