Brightline is redefining pediatric behavioral health care delivery across the country. As Licensing and Credentialing Manager, you own the end-to-end machinery that keeps every provider licensed, enrolled, and revenue-ready across all states and payer networks. This is a high-level individual contributor role with no direct reports, but significant cross-functional influence and accountability.
You will own the licensing vendor relationship (CertifyOS) including budget and performance accountability, directing vendor work rather than simply tracking it. You manage all provider licensing and renewals across multiple states, ensuring timely submission, tracking, and compliance with state licensing board requirements. You oversee all commercial, Medicaid, and managed Medicaid payer credentialing activities, personally managing provider enrollment, re-credentialing, and payer applications from submission through approval.
You own payer roster management across all contracted health plans, ensuring accurate and timely submissions synchronized with payer systems. You coordinate provider additions, terminations, demographic updates, and location changes with contracted payers, and perform routine audits to identify and correct discrepancies. You develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and government payer credentialing representatives, leading monthly operational meetings focused on credentialing escalations, enrollment turnaround times, roster accuracy, and process improvements.
You serve as the organization's primary escalation point for payer credentialing issues and represent the licensing and credentialing function in cross-functional forums with Contracting, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, Clinical Operations, and Legal. You support delegated credentialing program development and coordinate payer audits. You own core metrics including days to credential, license renewal on-time rate, and payer roster accuracy rate, defining processes and workflows that scale as provider volume and payer relationships grow. You proactively bring metric trends and process gaps to leadership rather than waiting for issues to cause delays.
