Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform serving over 5,200 customers including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square, is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to build and scale the systems, processes, and technology that enable the Legal team to operate at its best.
In this hands-on role, you will partner across Commercial, Product, Privacy, Corporate, Finance, IT, and other teams to simplify how legal work gets done, improve visibility into priorities and risk, and create a seamless experience for internal stakeholders. You will use automation and AI-enabled technology responsibly to reduce manual work, improve knowledge access, and help the Legal team move faster without compromising quality, security, or judgment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable workflows across the Legal team, including commercial, product, privacy, corporate, and compliance-related work
- Own and optimize the Legal team's technology ecosystem, including contract lifecycle management, e-signature, intake, knowledge management, and reporting tools
- Identify practical opportunities to leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to streamline routine legal work and improve self-service, while partnering with Legal and IT on appropriate governance and controls
- Build dashboards and reporting that give Legal leadership visibility into workload, contract cycle times, key trends, business impact, and operational priorities
- Lead cross-functional projects and change-management efforts, including new process rollouts, systems integrations, internal enablement, and stakeholder communications
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for legal process and technology questions, helping employees navigate Legal's tools, resources, and ways of working
- Develop and maintain scalable legal knowledge resources, templates, playbooks, and training programs that make it easier for the business to engage Legal effectively

You bring a strong point of view on how automation and AI can improve legal operations, paired with sound judgment around accuracy, confidentiality, security, and human review. You can translate complex legal and operational needs into simple workflows and systems requirements. You are comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution. You build strong cross-functional relationships and can influence adoption through clear communication, thoughtful change management, and a service-oriented mindset.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in legal operations, paralegal work, contract operations, or a related operational role supporting an in-house legal team
- Experience managing and improving legal processes, including contract intake, contract lifecycle management, legal requests, knowledge management, or matter tracking
- Proven experience using AI to improve workflows and increase efficiency for the legal team and its cross-functional partners
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting operational data through dashboards, reports, or executive-ready insights
- Strong project management, organizational, written communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Ironclad, DocuSign, Slack, Tableau, Snowflake, and reporting or workflow automation platforms
